A 16mm fiction assembled from summer fragments, staged encounters, and performative drift.
Shot between the Everglades and Miami Beach, the film follows two young women through a loose sequence of tableaux, private games, and unstable rituals. Its visual language draws from music video, fashion imagery, road cinema, and diary film, but resists settling into a fixed narrative.
Completed in 2021 from footage shot over two weekends in 2018, Postcards from Last Summer treats youth as a surface already becoming memory: playful, artificial, luminous, and quietly estranged.
